197 The Peace on The Horizon (2/3)

"Even if a nation state was broken, their rivers and mountains remain." This poem means one of the Oriental way of thinking. It seems difficult to share the same view in the monotheistic world of Islam. Among the elderly people of the Arabs, "Inshallah (If Good wills)" is widely accepted for his own fate. But young Arabs are not able to accept passive philosophy as their parents. They got angry to the contradiction and inequality in the secular world. Young Arabs believed the promised heaven in the afterlife. He committed suicide bombing making a martyr of himself and rushed to heaven.

Young guys who prefer IT rather than martyrdom looked for change of society by using the Internet's SNS. They called for an anti-government demonstration through SNS to overthrow dictatorship. The young generation defeated the dictatorship. It was the so-called Arab Spring. But the movement did not progress furthermore. Why? It was proved that the society easily became active when called on the Internet. It was easy to activate the society was easy, but it was not so easy to change the society.
