The
name "Dr. Girgo" was a slang given by ex-general and its daughter.
Having emigrated from Russia to Israel with his peasant parents as a new
immigrant, he was baptized in a communal life of a kibbutz far from the city.
However, the life in a kibbutz was nothing but pain for him. He could not adapt
himself to it. He struggled to escape the kibbutz. And become doctor.
After becoming a doctor, he called himself "Doctor Zhivago" after a book by the great Russian auther Boris Pasternak. But his friends called him "Doctor Jekyll” because he was paranoiac and sometime a man with a double character. Two names were amalgamated into “Doctor Girgo" by a father and a daughter.
"As
you say, he went to the United States for studying medical science and came
back two years ago. By chance, he got a job at the same hospital with Shalom.
But don't worry Dad. I heard from my friend that he had no interested in Shalom
anymore. Both of them seem to care more about their own research matters than
love affairs."
"What
is the business of 'Dr. Girgo'?"
"Hmm.
Hold on a second."
"He
explained that he discovered something extraordinary in his research. And he is
confident that his new finding would never disappoint us. I wonder how many
times he has sent such e-mail. His persistent offer is the same manner as he was
a stalker of Shalom.”
Shy-Rock
decided to see him. He had heard from one of his former subordinate a little
while ago that one medical doctor who had just returned home from abroad had
discovered something outrageous. He didn’t know what the outrageous thing was.
It was a mysterious story. But his sixth sense was tickled by that story. Shy-Rock,
who had survived many struggles, had instinct like animal. He trusted his own
instinct.
"I
see, let's meet him. I'll leave the arrangements to you."
As
soon as she checked his father's schedule, Anat sent reply mail to Doctor
Girgo.
