Landing on the Earth (3)
The
Elite had resumed his duty several months ago after completing his mission to
bomb Iran's nuclear facilities. But he was the only one survival. His two
colleagues, Mafia and Abdallah, never came back. The Israeli Air Force lost
three fighter planes and one fuel supply plane during the operation to bomb
Iranian nuclear facility. In addition to Mafia and Abdullah, all the crew
members of the fuel supply plane lost their lives. Abdullah set off a nuclear
explosion in the stratosphere above Iranian air space while carrying a nuclear
warhead.
Israeli
government and military leaders urgently discussed and analyzed on how to deal
with the situation. The bombing of Iran's nuclear facilities by Israeli jets
was too obvious to concede. The Israeli government made a public statement that
the bombing had nothing to do with the other events.
Israel
had never made it clear whether they had nuclear bombs or not. It meant that
neither their fighter plane carried a nuclear warhead, nor caused a nuclear
explosion over Iran. The Israeli government did not deny or confirm it externally,
and pushed through with no comment. Inside the military, a strict gag order was
drawn not to talk about the Iranian nuclear incident.
Elites
strongly believed that if he completed his missions and returned to his
homeland, he would become heroes. However, two of his fellow pilots did not
make it out alive. He was not given even the reason of the death of his
colleagues.
However, when he was rescued by the U.S. nuclear-powered aircraft carrier Harry S. Truman and noticed that he was the only one survivor, he began to worry about the behavior of the people around him. At first, the sailors looked him with awe, but later no one directly praised him. All treated him with touching a boil.
