Chapter 58 Ethnic cleanser

Dr.
Girgo devoted himself to genetic research. By manipulating the two types of genes,
he explored the possibility that the new virus would affect only one side, Palestinians
or Ashkenazi Jews. His research was laid on borderline between divinity and
demonism. It was a delicate one, like walking on a thin wall.
One
day, he discovered a mutation in the microscope by chance. It was exactly the
virus he was looking for. He also succeeded to incubate the new virus. The
first discoverer used to be given the honor of naming rights. He decided to
call new virus as 'ethnic cleanser'.
But there were two problems for him to gain worldwide honor or financial reward by this new discovery. The first problem was that new virus was discovered by chance. It couldn’t reproduce, therefore. He followed the experimental course immediately after his discovery and tried to get the same result again and again. But in the end, he was unable to create the same virus. It was the only one virus in the world that lived in his laboratory. He had established his own cultivation method. So, he could supply the necessary amount of virus to the outside customers. He was the world's exclusive supplier of this virus.
The
other problem was how to prove the effectiveness of new virus. Effectiveness meant
that the virus affected fertility in Palestinian women only. The virus would
never affect both men and non-Palestinian women with less fevers in the early
stage.
Basically,
it was forbidden to carry out unethical experiment having a negative effect on
the human body. Furthermore, it was not permissible to experiment with a virus
whose effectiveness was expected to differ depending on race or ethnicity. It
might exterminate a race or ethnicity in the end.
