It
was tens of millions of years ago that the virus came to the Earth. Virus was a
primitive life made by the Creator residing the vast universe. The Creator was
the supreme entity in the universe. Who was the Creator? No one could answer
that. Nobody knew whether it existed as tangible object. It might be a formless
law or order. Anyhow it was beyond human intelligence.
However,
in order to convince themselves, human beings had sought tangible object since
ancient times, and had applied order and language. Therefore, the vague term
"the Creator" would be used in this text.
The
Creator named the virus Galaxy. He added the information about destination to
its DNA, and released it into space. Without knowing his name or his
destination, Galaxy fell into hibernation in the vast universe of zero gravity
and absolute zero temperature, and drifted in search of his safe haven.
The
dormant Galaxy itself had no way of knowing where he was heading for. It simply
entrusted the Creator. Precisely speaking it was not correct to use the word
"entrusted" because the Galaxy had no will. The Creator left all his
orders in DNA of Galaxy, such as where was the destination, how to reach the
destination and what it should do after waking up from hibernation at the final
destination. The Creator designated the destination of Galaxy to a planet in
where there were the lives. The earth was one of them.
Hundreds
of millions of years ago, the virus jumped on to one of the meteorites travelling
space with high speed. The meteorite collided with the earth 60 million years
ago. The collision resulted in disastrous climate change on the earth. Large
creatures such as dinosaurs that had flourished until then perished completely.
The earth entered into the ice age. The Galaxy continued its hibernation.
Galaxy could awaken and proliferate only when they entered into creatures on Earth. However, if there was former inhabitant inside the creature, it would try to eliminate the Galaxy which was a new comer. A fierce survival battle had to take place there. Once the Galaxy was defeated in battle, it expelled from the body of the host. It meant the death of the Galaxy. As soon as the Galaxy had awakened from hibernation, therefore, it had no way to survive except to parasitize its host. The host was the essential life support system for the Galaxy.
