The turmoil in the Persian Gulf region was further escalated by the US containment policy of Iran, which was triggered by the alleged nuclear development in Iran. It was the US logic that once Iran took lead in nuclear development in the region, the entire Middle East would become unstable and Iranian nuclear weapons might be smuggled to Islamic terrorist organizations in the future.

It was like the sixth sense that whether they felt the threat or not.

Such sixth sense of the Israeli right-wing government was quite different from those living in a peaceful world like the Japanese. Israelis have coexisted with threats for over 60 years since their founding. They never accepted the ordinary threat or peace theory. The correct response to someone who might attack in the near future was to kill them before been killed by them. In such circumstance, their own violence was the right one and enemy’s violence was the wrong one to be defeated.

Now Iran was the enemy. Reckless hardliners in Israel. Many of the US parliamentarians. And right-wing religious leaders. They unanimously supported the violence. Washington was no longer able to hold them back.

Al Udeid Air Force Base in Qatar is a forward headquarter of the US Central Command. Its operation covers from Afghanistan to the Arabian Peninsula and throughout the Indian Ocean. It is an important US air base that keeps eye on the Gulf countries and Iran.

The Persian Gulf is one of the world's leading oil producing areas. And the sea route from the Persian Gulf to Indian Ocean through the Strait of Hormuz is called the "tanker sea lane". It is the main artery of the world energy transportation. Therefore, it is very important to ensure the safety of sea lanes for the United States. Chapter 20. Wandering three little birds (1)

After completing the mission to bomb the Natanz nuclear plant, three Israeli jet fighters shook off the pursuit and escaped from Iranian airspace.
